1:37:22, approximately 37 seconds slower than last year. Which is not bad, considering my training was rather half-assed. I guess I tend to average just over a ten minute mile, which was the 50th percentile of my age group. So, there it is: proof that I am AVERAGE

I was just having lunch with a guy running the BCM (Burlington City Marathon) and a lady who's splitting it with her husband. Anyway, they were talking about this marathon and that marathon etc, and it occurred to me that the farthest I've ever run at any one time is right around 10 miles. I used to drag my guys around this 9.8 mile loop when I was in California; a nice Friday run to burn some calories before we’d crack a beer, but I don’t think that I’ve ever gone farther in one run.
I guess my point is, Yay for you!
