LOL, Prison Break...

Sep 03, 2008 21:19

Remember this post where I said they filmed part of Prison Break on my base?  Well, I guess that episode just aired.  The scene that I watched them film with one of our C-130s is right at the beginning of the episode, 00:42 - 1:35.  I can't believe it took them HOURS to shoot less than a minute.  *head desk*

Well, at least they pay you for more than just the 2 minutes that it's on, lol.

Considering the process, it's not too unbelievable.

- More than one take.

- Out-takes.

- Tech problems (sound, video, props).

- Cast problems (performance, variations on lines, variations on direction, changed lines e.t.c).

- Cutting room floor (they can't use it all).

Considering how much gets whittled down, one day's shooting isn't one day's screen time.

I guess hours was an understatement...I think they were there the entire weekend.

Still, pretty cool! Now I know people who have Torchwood, Stargate and Prison Break shoot near them on location!

Army...*shudder* LOL, sorry. I'm in the Air Force but have to work for the Army, and I'm a little irate with them at the moment.
