I'm beginning to think my post with Sinpar must have summoned emergency room demons. Last Monday I went through a horrible nightmare experience getting help for a bad kidney stone. Now I'm sitting with a grotesquely swollen and discolored foot....pounding my head yelling WHY ME?!

New job has its ups and downs. Good pay and benefits, the usual cliques and workload issues. Traffic in Atlanta is a nightmare. I have to go through the infamous Spaghetti Junction. Kinda seemed odd to hear them announce massages over the loud speaker for staff. Apparently they offer professional massages to staff for ten dollars...interesting perk ( Read more... )

Friday was the last game. Over 4 hrs on a school bus on a freezing night with 30 high schools kids is..hmmm. You get the idea. Amazing how much time running the kid to band twice a week at 530 then picking her up at 830 takes up. Not to mention the games and competitions ( Read more... )

I stole the little story below from another site...it gave me a good chuckle. Hope it does the same for you. Waited in line for an hour at the DMV today for a license and then found out I need a birth certificate. For crying out loud, just to change states...duh. I spent an hour moving bed parts around trying to figure out how the stupid thing went together. Finally realized I had the part to two different beds...sigh. I'm STILL trying to figure it out. WELL...I was in town STILL moving things when Ivan interrupted me. That little I10 mess added 2 hrs to my trip home. SIGH. For those unaware, I've moved to Atlanta. Longest move in history probably.
