Thank you! I imagined that it looked like this. But I've no idea how they bathed at Baker Street - it must have been such a hassle, getting all the hot water up the stairs. Maybe they just stank! But that's not very sexy.

I liked writing this because I could freely use all the Victorian slang I'm always trying to inject in my modern fics. The Victorians had such a rich sexual slang.

Hellboy II does look quite good and steampunky but I'll probably wait for the DVD. I only go to the movies a few times a year for very special occassions.

You must mean, your first Holmes slashfic, because you write slash yourself! Very hot House/Wilson slash! They are very similar characters, just a different time period.

Holmesslash is kind of rare, but if you're interested, check out http://community.livejournal.com/cox_and_co/ which is the Holmes slash community - as far as I know, the only one.

Yes, I am a member of the Yahoo group, but that slash link collection is new to me. There was a great H/W site called Sacrilege but it seems to have dissappeared.

This was one of your first slashfics? That's amazing, because I think you've captured their dynamic and character very well.

I see you like House/Wilson as well =) but I suppose that's not unexpected for a Holmes/Watson fan.

I think it was actually my first one, which I began years and years ago and never finished. I did intend to write a good deal more about Holmes and Watson but got waylaid with House and Wilson. They are very similar, of course but I so enjoy the Victorian vernacular, writing Holmes/Watson is such fun.
