hopped in from the donna comm :D

They made each other better. Honestly I know the doctor claims that rose made him better, but Rose never questioned the doctor or told him off when he was being an idiot. Donna totally did. I wanted Donna to see that she was amazing, and live with that for the rest of her life.

I expected that either she would die, or that she and the doctor who tragically part in some way, but this is just too horrible for words.

I agree completely that they made each other better, which is why Donna was so awesome. Oh, sure Rose and Martha brought positive aspects out in him, but Donna challenged him, and I truly believe the Doctor needs that kind of strength in a companion.

I think I could've lived with the whole mind wipe if Donna had been able to keep the woman she'd become. In a way, this is worse than death, because there would've been meaning to death. It feels like there's no meaning to this.

I agree with everyone - Donna *really* challenged him and she did become a better person with him. I was hoping that she could have stayed being the "hybrid", then that way - the Doctor wouldn't necessarily be the last one.

It tore my heart out when the Doctor admonished her mum saying "Well TELL HER ONCE IN A WHILE". Also when Wilf saluted him.

When Rose was helped by looking into the heart of the TARDIS by being kissed, then why couldn't something similar happen here?

*sigh*

It was definitely a great episode where I found myself holding my mouth shut or holding my hair. I am really sorry that CT is gone, and the Donna we grew to love is also gone.

Did anyone else feel that the Daleks speaking German was a very natural, yet hilarious thing?
