The unpacking continues

L is an unpacking machine. She has her room almost, if not completely done, as well as the kitchen. Me? I'm not even close. Despite the fact that we went through our stuff, 3, 4, possibly even 5 times, we're still unpacking stuff going "Why did we move this?" The first Mother's Day after 9/11 I was trying to put together something special for a couple of women at church whose husbands were in the Navy and out at sea. I'd had the husbands videotape messages and I was trying to have the tapes converted to dvd. I went to the business that did the conversions and played the 'these men are defending our country' card. Yes, I got the dvds in time for Mother's Day.

L and I totally didn't begrudge the woman at all. My guess is that the moving company had promised her stuff by Friday as well.

By the end of this, L and I were on a first name basis with the woman at the moving company. I mean, we just had to say our names and she knew who we were. She probably knew our invoice number by heart.

Wow George is still going. I remember him - He is a great cat. I am sure he would love a good happy home.
