This was a great fic; I loved how the pieces all came together for each of them, how each of them did his own thing, but it wasn't really just *his* anymore; they were to tied together for photography to be *only* Jon's thing, and for writing to belong only to Ryan, and so on.
That was wonderful and really well written. I loved the pacing and flow and how descriptive everything was. I could picture each destination and I could see the boys there in my head.
This was the GSF that I've always wanted to read, where it's more about the relationships, how it's not easy and they have to actually work hard and how they are all part of each other no matter how much they want to pretend they aren't. I also like how the sex whilst hot, was not the main focus. It added to the story but didn't pull away from the main plot.
*happy sigh* I think I'll definatly re-read this more than once.
Oh, wow, this was just so beautiful. favoritefavoritefavoritefavorite. More than anything else, I loved the time the boys spent without each other, and yet, they were just so invested in each other. I really fell into each of their point of view, and the people they met were nice counterpoints to what was going on in the boys' lives. The destinations you chose were them were terrifically sketched out. I also liked the way you approached the way they fell into their relationship and then fell apart. Also, no lie, Brendon studying musical theory makes my shriveled heart grow three sizes!!! Also, you know, PRINCESS BRIDE.
I really loved the way you wrote Jon's trip--it sounded as if you knew exactly what it looked like there and how it felt to be somewhere that dangerous and dead. I also thought the beginning and the end worked really well to open the conflict and then tie it together.
