i HATE laguna beach (but love The OC? wtf). i can't STOP myself from watching my super sweet sixteen. my roommate hates it. she goes into violent fits of absolute rage. i can't watch it because she yells so loud. it's like a car wreck. i can't help myself. but, i didn't have a fucking birthday party. i'd rather be poor than finding love in material objects. and rather be lonely than have people buying shit for me out of guilt. but that dumb shit in florida? i want to beat her up too. big deal she got a D in math so she gets a party!
as much as i hate laguna beach, i cant stop watching it. the same with SS16. i mean, i'm going to be paying off student loans for a few years and they get a $100,000 bday party for acting like a bunch of stuck up brats. the world is so unfair ;[
haha awesome. i go in @ 3:30. sooooo i know this is probably an annoying question, but what are classes like there? is it fun? are people douchebags? do you guys go on any field trips? i'm dying to know.
right now classes suck and are boring as shiit. haha. were learning about chemistry and anatomy and shit that we have to know but its all in the book so id rather just read it at home and do the test booklet things that come with it. its annoying but its really easy and were only learning out of the books for like 5 more weeks so ohh well. i took today off to pack up boxes in my house because im moving and id rather be here than there haha. it is a lot of fun though and i really like the majority of the people who go there. of course there are a couple i wouldnt mind beating the shit out of but whatver. and weve gotten to start working with our mannequins which is fun and gets you really excited to be going into this industry. we havent taken any far away field trips yet weve just gone to like structures and strand to see how they run their businesses but we get to go to nyc and stuff for MAC field trips so its definitely going to be amazing after were done all this bookwork. WHEW! long comment.
haha mehhh bookwork...oh well, i expected that. no biggie. i'm still really excited about everything...and NYC sounds like so much fun. i love hair but i'm especially stoked on the make up aspect of the school. can't wait can't wait ;]

hahaha fuck a jason. he's a meathead with no personality. for some reason he reminds me of the token kid who had a beard in 7th grade, every school had one. i honestly don't think he's very good looking. when he's not being a total asshole, his role in the show is completely pointless. everytime the camera is on him, he's just gazing off somewhere with some half-assed jock-brah smile. that show is fake. i'm convinced.
and as for SS16, the girls on there are disgusting. "LYKE OMGZ I WANNA BE DA HAWTEST GURL AT DA PAWTY...I WANT ALL DA BOYZ TO SAY DAAAAAYUM DAT HOE IS FIIINE"...then they show her dancing with some midget...that she probably hired.
mtv should have a show about normal people once...actually, mtv should just cancel their entire channel or at least change the name to "spoiled 16 year old bitch television"

a friend of mine has some friends out in laguna beach, the same area and everything- they even know the kids. apparently the area isn't like that at all, probably goes more towards your comment-- just kids who love the camera and try to spice if up with some drama themselves and that mtv has already set up for them. and they just have far too much money for their own good, again.
i mean, most of laguna beach is just headshots...the pretty teenagers gazing off into the distance...and the dialouge is horrible and often hard to understand. i think my life/group of friends is ALOT more interesting than a bunch of kids who have too much money to know what to do with and boring social lives that consist of being sluts and shopping at aeropostale.
the only thing i found to be realistic about that show, is that Kristen is really a slut in REAL life. i've talked to some people who know her and said she's as scandalous in real life as she is on TV.
