My parents...

My parents...mostly my dad knew how hard it was to be a parent. My father frequently took on both the father role and the mother role. He treated my handicapped mother as weak. Well you figured out the hardest part already. We all make our own destiny based on what we believe will happen.

I came from a family where women meant nothing but a source for houses to become clean and to produce children. It is rather funny since my grandmother was an accountant, my mother a teacher and me... well... techie. So I don't know if I am repeating the pattern of being smart but in a quiet role. Just be grateful you don't live in a place where smart women are looked down upon. I find it is easier to get along playing dumb to most men I come across. Silly isn't it? To be accepted easier, playing dumb works.
