And so the end begins! Today is Supernatural Day - 14 years since the Pilot aired. Hot Topic did a promotion with a commemorative t-shirt with all proceeds from todays sales going to Random Acts. It sold out within hours!

That's honestly the prettiest poster they've release, I think it's my favourite, and simultaneously the poster that I hate because it makes me feel the end is real and that it is near. It's pretty, though. But it hurts. 😭

I'm saving the trailer as something to look back to at the end of the season. I always like watching with a completely clean slate, even if it has as little spoilers as possible... I think it worsens the tension for me LOL

It seems apt to come back to LJ to look at this - LJ and Supernatural are inextricably linked in my head. Maybe this final year will see a resurgence, drag me away from the hell that is Tumblr! I love this poster, I love it so much it's now my laptop wallpaper. I'm wallowing in so many feelings as October comes closer (none of which are linked to the fact that where I live we haven't officially seen S14 yet...) I want this season to be phenomenal, I want this season to inspire me to write shitty fanfic again, I want to to do gross snotty crying at the end of each episode just because that's the last X numbered episode that there will be.

I love this Show and these characters and the actors and crew and fandom. For all its faults I'm going to miss it dearly because when it does things right it does it so damn well.
