ANYHOW -- So HAPPY to see another post from you today!! Is it 10pm yet?

Castle's use of "Always" has become so overused in fanfic, it's practically a cliche -- but they way you describe his thoughts, (It's one single, simple, word but he understands now that really it holds the same meaning as three.), you give it a depth I haven't often seen. Nicely done.

she finds she can no longer distinguish the difference between the sting of heat and the bite of cold
This is a great metaphor for how Kate's world has been rocked in the last few days.

Thank you! I'm glad you felt the way I used 'Always' belied cliche a little cos I was very conscious of how over used it is in fic, but it felt very important to his though process in the aftermath of Countdown. /ramble

No, I never have. I'm much more comfortable with one shots cos I'm terrible with plot and the actual crime aspect haha so I'm not sure I could sustain a multi chapter fic. Sorry.
