He's looking at the sky, feeling the sun on his face, and thinking about what's next. Roman's gone and Reese is back; he likes the symmetry. (He's still thinking about maths, one plus one. He knows the answer, he's just unsure how to show the working.)
“Crews,” he hears her voice and when he lowers his head she's there, right in front of him. This time Roman can't stop him from taking her hand, so he does and she grips it tightly and for a moment they just stand under the glaring sun.
“Let's go home,” Dani says.
