This is completely irrelevant to Yuletide (but welcome to losing your Yuletide-ginity, I did it last year and it was BETTER THAN I EXPECTED, which is more than I can say for other kinds of -ginities) but oh my god I only got around to watching the latest Good Wife ep last night and it actually broke me a little when Kalinda was talking to Will and referred to Alicia as "[Peter's] wife", because SERIOUSLY? That's what they've gotten to??? Unacceptable. Also p.s. apart from that little bit that scene was the best scene in the episode, I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP AND I LOVE THAT KALINDA DOESN'T WANT WILL TO HUG HER.

Sorry for hijacking your letter!!! I have a lot of feelings but I am too lazy to write them in a post.

I'm very excited about losing my Yuletide-ginity! :D

Ugh yes I knooooooow! It's killing me that they're basically pretending they don't even know each other anymore. I want my babies to be friends again, drinking tequila and being awesome. *sigh*

Also yes yes yes to the Will/Kalinda friendship. I so want more of that! (This season is a bit weird for me. Like, it's still ~quality but I find that apart from moments here and there I'm not ASDFGHJKL over it. And I think it's because there have been this BIG things happen i.e Alicia & Kalinda's falling out, Alicia/Will etc. and I keep waiting for them to blow up or something but they don't. They just keep skating along without any change and it's less interesting. But still, I do love it.)

No problems! You know feelings are always welcome here ;D

I feel like, idk, for me The Good Wife is a bit of a slow build? They kind of like the longer arcs over the more up and down model that something like Castle prefers (these are literally the only two dramas I watch right now so....... my knowledge is limited), so the beginning of the season does sort of favour the smaller moments. But I don't know, I mean, I really like the way they do things because they have a lot of little set-ups that you can tell they're going to detonate which is really fun to see and I completely trust them to do it (which is where Castle is terrifying me because idk what they're up to? WHAT ARE THEY UP TO, MEG?) even if I am dreading the day Will and Alicia stop having sex in hallways for the neighbours to hear. (However, Cary can fuck off now because his wishy-washy back and forth with Kalinda is GRATING ON MY LAST NERVE. I HATE HIS STUPID FACE. Ugh.)

Yes, it definitely is and I ~know that so I'm not sure why I'm not quite as excited over it. I mean, I do still love it and every episode I think 'holy crap they're good' but I'm not having that MUST HAVE NEW EPS RIGHT THIS SECOND KIND OF FEELING. And I think it's because I'm waiting for things to blow up but I don't know when/if it's going to happen? I don't know ( ... )
