Thank you so much, I'm so pleased you liked it. It was interesting getting inside his head.
Ah I know, I've had a writing lull of late which has been frustrating. Just been so busy with work. But as it happens I'm actually working on some Castle fic as we speak so hopefully that'll be finished soon ;D
I was absolutely thrilled to see that you'd written Haven fic, and this is wonderful. I especially like:
Still, it didn't take long to realise that the thrill of sailing down a hill on a sled at breakneck speeds doesn't have the same effect when you can't even feel the wind on your face.
With Audrey his Trouble feels neither irrelevant nor a burden; he doesn't have to pretend it doesn't exist but it fades into the background anyway, mostly irrelevant to the relationship they have.
and
(It's true he sometimes hits him harder than he means to, but force is hard to judge when you can't feel it. Or so he'll tell Duke.) - Ha, awesome!
And of course, the ending, which is gorgeous. I hope you'll write more Haven fic :)
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you like it. I definitely hope to write more Haven fic. I have so much love for this show. (I just have a huge backlog of things to try and get through first lol. Too much I want to write and never enough time.)
That's such a wonderful insight into Nathan, lovely fic. Such a tragic thought that a vibrant boy just repress all that emotion because of his Trouble.
I remember an interview where the writers were sayin that Nathan was the life of the party before his troubles came back a second time, your fic reminds me of that.

I find Nathan an intriguing character, I love reaing fanfics from his POV and even more so if they are writtenso beautifully.
And seriously, is nice reading something by you, I was kinda missing your writing! (Don't disappear again?)
Directly to my memories.
