I'm Alive!
And back with a meme. Because my RL has been to bleh to talk about, this one comes from my dear bay115 who asked me five questions which I had to answer in my journal. If you guys would like me to ask you 5 questions so you can answer them in your journal, comment here with "Meme me baby!" XD
1. How you got started with FMA and what made you still interested in it?
I actually can't remember how I started watching FMA, just that I watched the first anime first, was completely disappointed with the ending and then someone told me it wasn't the real ending (I think it was KT aka flametwirler) and I was overjoyed because despite the lack of focus in the first anime, I was already heavily invested in royai. Which also answers the next part of the question. I mean, don't get me wrong, its a brilliant story with great characters but the biggest attraction for me has always, ALWAYS been RoyAi. I cannot even begin to explain my feels for this ship (and I would bore everyone to death if I tried, you, Bay, should know better than anyone XD). But yes, Royai is what keeps me still interested. The fact that even though its been three plus years, I am no closer to explaining it then I was when going "wtf" during first anime watching. Their complexity, their pain, their sheer impossible-ness keeps me interested.
2. Similar to #1, how you got started with Song of Ice and Fire?
Simple answer, my brother. In his usual fashion, he came up to me one day and shoved a book in my hands, Game of Thrones with a vague "read this, this is good shit". And I trust his judgement so I gave the book a try, and well, today, he's still on Feast for Crows and I'm a member of westerosorting
3. If you're not in the medical profession now, what other professions you see yourself in?
Teaching, most likely. Before last year, my answer would have had something to do with writing but this last year has taught me that despite how much effort it is and despite how drained I get at the end of the day being with all these young, fresh faced kids, I genuinely like doing it. It took me ages to admit it to myself but now I've come to terms with it. XD
4. Favorite Malaysian meal?
Duuude, that is like the toughest question you can ask since Malaysia is the food capitol of the world. But for the sake of everyone's sanity, I'll go with Malay Malaysian meal. It would probably have to be rendang (with plain, unsalted rice) and lemang (mostly eaten on special occasions. With Kuih Seri Muka as bothstarter and dessert and the ever popular Milo as my drink of chhoice.
5. Any pets in the past? If not, which animals you would like as one?
A fish called Angel when I was young, which the maid took care of since we wee at school from 7 to nearly 7 every day. I'd love to own a dog some day, a huge energetic thing that could knock me over easily. <3
