Well, I hate unhappy endings, but I read this because I've enjoyed other things you've written. Plus, it wasn't very long.

I'm glad it was beautiful, and even though it was heavy stuff, there was a happy ending in a manner of speaking, so all in all good job!

I hate angst with a passion unless it has a happy ending! I don't like reading it but for some reason I found myself wanting to write one. I think i was also feeling sad at the time. Haha
