The Saints have 1 playoff win under their belt, and they might have lost that one if Az-Hakim didn't fumble the punt. Matter of fact, I'm sure there's no possible way they can win. Philly is due. Garcia is a vet, and will keep the ball away from the Saints offense. This game means way too much to the Saints, and they have too much baggage. ( Read more... )

ha ha, Saints win. now Philadelphia doesn't have to destroy itself again when everybody runs through the streets at all hours blowing horns and so on.

I've never seen a post-game interview with coaches and players in which you could still hear the fans yelling within the stadium. Until the Saints win, of course. I wonder if that's the highest ratio of intoxicated-to-sober citizens that the city has ever seen. Any other city, at any other time, and I'd be sure.

In New Orleans, they blew the horns on the tugboats.

Also, in the post-game thread, someone mentioned this:

"The Saints must win the whole thing this year. That's because the Super Bowl Champs get to visit the White House.

I think we all know why that has to happen."
