This is going to sound ridiculous coming a million years later, but Lisa. LISA. You probably thought that leaving me a birthday message was something small, but long story short my day was not the greatest and it meant so much to hear from you after so long! When I saw this I was in a locker room surrounded by kids and their moms and I was like, "....I can't cry right now because there are all these impressionable half-undressed 9-year-olds here but that excuse gets flimsier with every moment!!!", so eventually I went outside and cried into a trash can. Which is a totally disproportionate reaction to have to a friendly greeting, but I promise it was in a positive way. This comment made my day. Thank you.
