One of the things I have learnt so far in life is that we can definitely laugh our way through life itself. It helps !!!!

I am sure there's a lot of laughs in the house then .... As long as the kids find it humourous u should humour him .... after all we need some Jayus in our seemingly ordinary lives.

Hehe ... getting started on the Indian Railways would be different "train" game altogether. Whether its the good or the bad of it ... its sure gives us a lot to write about. By the way what was the circumstances to sleep on the compartment floor ???

Myself and two women and an interpreter/guide were headed to Katihar to get to a village outside Forbesganj for a civil rights project. Hmmm , Its my guess there are a lot of 'Mira's' around :) A journey spoiler. If you are looking for sights and scenes , contrasts of urban and rural life, people and their intricacies the Indian Railways would give you all of these and more. As long as there are no goof ups though which in any which case always manages to surface !!!!

And were you allowed to make the journey, albeit perhaps standing the whole way through? What a terrible mixup!

Clearly, that is not the person to be left in charge of important details!

Yes luckily we did make that journey. Got down at the next station and picked up tickets. The whole group had to be split up though which was irritating too :)
