My love for the mane grew up with me.

This was wonderful enough, but once the revelation came that Charley could read minds it took a really fun turn.

And then, when Aleesha's thoughts came into focus, and eternal_ot's entry is factored in...

Oh boy.

I think the hardest part about working in a salon would be keeping up conversation with all of the customers who come in during a day, being able to read minds would certainly help with that.

Both ladies in your pieces are so excited, I rather hope they become friends and leave Rahul behind.

Thank u so much for stopping by to read. The amount of conversations that happen in a salon is actually mind boggling. And I have always been fascinated with the concept of mind reading. o I just figured it would be a good thing to mix the two here. And as for the ladies ... I hope that happens too. Well that is a story for another day or prompt perhaps.

Someone's going to get hurt here. Maybe more than one someone. You and eternal did a great intersection :)

Thank you for that feedback. Yes ... surely someone is going to get hurt. But I guess love and life does that some times. Appreciate you stopping by to read.

Charley's mind-reading abilities came as a surprise, and really added to the story. Poor Aleesha - a sad, bitter woman who changed her life, and now the reader knows it will end in unhappiness. Will Aleesha find out about each other, or will Rahul play both women (and maybe more) along, breaking both their hearts at some later date? I very much enjoyed your story and your writing style.

Thank u so much for the feedback. You have mad my day. The mind reading ability has always intrigued me and when Eternal_ot and I were discussing stories and what voice to use and how to merge the two stories ... this just seemed to fit into the concept. Glad it worked for you as it did for us.

I love the idea of him reading his customers' minds, and using it to know how to care for them.
