[Bobby's grinning at his journal, wearing a
Christmas sweater and looking pretty pleased about it.]
Giant octopus Santa was definitely not something I was ever expecting, but I'll take it if it comes with daylight. Thanks for the sweater, Octosanta?
Is everyone okay?
[And he does mean everyone, though he's also just gone general because the

Th-- thanks! I, uh, I-I would've-- g-got you something, [even though Christmas is not a thing that he knows], but-- y-you know.
I-I could maybe-- do something f-for you-- now?

You're welcome! And don't worry, I'm just happy you like it. Not that I'm opposed to doing something with you or anything.
Also, man, that sweater is wicked.
[He's kind of pleased a few others seem to be enjoying the Christmas stuff as much as he is.]

[Xanth grins and looks down at his design. Gotta love pudgy snowmen.]
I-- I-I like yours, t-too. It's-- well. Uh. S-Seasonal.
[He can't hide the amusement in his voice. He knows it's ugly and he kind of loves it.]

Seasonal's a good word for it! Garish would probably be another one, but they're so awesomely garish that you just have to love them.

I-I, uh, I-I also got this-- s-scarf, a-and a pair of socks, a-and, um, s-some other stuff.
[Like boxers.
They have dancing candy canes on them.]
Did-- did you get a-anything e--else?

[...yeah Bobby doesn't really have any shame when it comes to that.]

Me, too. My mom used to buy us sweaters for our Christmas photo when I was a kid, and they'd always be super scratchy. But maybe that's the difference between buying them at the store and making them yourself? Not that I know if these are homemade.
[Although now he's got the best mental picture of Octosanta knitting Christmass things.]

R--Right?

[...or at least, he's pretty sure it's not.]
I'm kind of wondering if he made them himself or got someone else to now, though.

[Not Deior! Deior's no magic Santa! He's a silent overseer a-hole!]

[Okay, Bobby didn't actually think about that before he said it. Definitely not Deior!]
Maybe one of the other staff?

Th-then again, I-- I guess the bi-- bigger question, i-is... where-- where did he get th-that-- the sleigh?

Maybe this is one of those things that's a lot more magical and fun if we don't actually start wondering how it happened.

M--Maybe, yeah.

I think I'll go back to just enjoying the Christmas-y clothing without thinking about where they came from.
