Does anyone want to get together in a few days at the tavern to have some drinks?
[There's a moment where Bobby looks a little bit contemplative, then he smiles, a little sheepish.]I mean, I know officially being twenty-one isn't really that big of a deal here, but I was kind of looking forward to it back home. I'd like to do something sort of

[Bobby was the nice guy that had checked up on her when everything happened over Christmas, and needless to say, Liz hadn't realized that he was pushing twenty-one years of age. SCANDALOUS!
Still, it wouldn't hurt to try, right? I mean, she'd never had a drink in her life and if it wasn't going to effect her anyway, did it really still count?
She didn't think so, either!! :D]
I'd, like, be totally open if you want a bit more company!
[Because you sure do have a lot of young women tagging along, Bobby. :\]

[Bobby recognizes her voice immediately - mostly because he still hadn't been able to see her, so her voice is all he knows her by. He grins widely at her reply.]
Of course! I'd love to have you there.
[Bobby has no idea what you're implying by that. So there.]

Oh. Em. Gee! Liz was going to have a frivolous night full of drinking and things couldn't possibly go wrong!!!]
That would, like, be totally awesome! I haven't been to a party in, like, forever so this will be, like, totally wicked! Umm... what kind of stuff would you, like, like for your birthday?
['Cause, presents!!!]

Definitely wicked! I was at one here awhile ago that was awesome, so I'm looking forward to having some fun.
[A lot of people could probably use some fun, actually. Him included.]
Oh, um. I don't really need anything! Maybe something to eat or drink?

I haven't been to, like, any guest parties since getting here... well, I mean... I went to the big Halloween thing, but, like, that wasn't the biggest heap of enjoyment one might hope for, you know? So, like, this'll be a pretty awesome way to, like, unwind and breathe a little.
[Can you practically hear her beaming that smile at you, Bobby? Then, a beat, 'cause that answer isn't what she was expecting.]
Nothing? Like, nothing at all? I mean, I'm sure I can figure out something to, like, bring to eat or drink...
[Bringing a few bottles along for the ride couldn't hurt, right?]

Yeah, I know what you mean. The first part of that was fun, but the rest? Not exactly a Halloween party I want to repeat.
[He can! Which is a good thing, since he can't actually see that smile.]
Oh, well, it's just - it's kind of hard to get presents here, you know? It's not like you can do the standard iTunes gift card or something. Mostly I'd just like company, so I'm not drinking all by myself.
[Because that would just be sad and lame, man.]

Yeah, things were, like, great up until the whole losing my head part...
[At his reasoning she snorts, grinning a bit.]
So no, like, top forty cds around to get, huh? Well, then I'll just, like, have to figure something out!
Reply
Ouch. Yeah, part was pretty much the opposite of fun.
[But then he grins at her response.]
Just don't go to too much trouble!

Who me? Nah, like, totally not gonna happen.
