[Once again, Rin is hurrying toward Misery Square. But never has she been so impatient about it, so giddy that she nearly runs one or two people over. She apologizes hastily and then keeps running, until the carousel comes in sight, and beneath it --]

[Manji is looking around him, trying to take in this strange place. He's never been outside of Edo, not since his criminal status kept him from being able to cross the checkpoints. Still, he finds it hard to believe that this is what the world looks like beyond those gates.

Whatever. Rin's here, and that's what matters.

And there she is. Okay, yeah, so maybe he's a little relieved. She looks safe and sound and pretty damn happy.]

[For a moment, Rin just stands there, out of breath, taking him in - it's him, it's really him!

Then, she breaks down and all but falls into his arms.]

[Manji catches her and holds her tight. Mostly for her sake -- she's a real touchy-feely little thing -- but a little for his own as well. A kind of reassurance that she really is okay and here.]

[Ignores his slight, because really, she couldn't care less right now. Slowly, she lets go and looks at him, a myriad of emotions flickering across her face.

A few teardrops are spilling from her eyes.]
