So, how do you begin a post in a journal that you haven’t updated in over five months? With a rhetorical question, of course ( Read more... )

Ah ha! Cade, I find myself immersed in a shower of heavenly bliss, freshly released by your writerly bounty and munificence...

I really appreciate your willingness to set down some small fragment of your experience into words. Of course, it will be a great pleasure to discuss your trips, and especially the solitary segment, in more detail. No doubt, you might give me some good tips for my own jaunt through Europe before the semester begins!

By the way, I'll see you, I hope, before I leave. Expect me to spend a few days around JBU at the beginning of the semester. Maybe I can crash at your new place? If Michael doesn't mind.

Best,

David

Hey David!

You can definitely stay with us when you come to visit! I'm really glad you will be able to stop by for the first few days before you leave! During random moments I am struck with the realization that you will not be at JBU next semester and it makes me sad... =( Also, I will be happy to provide you with some travel pointers - I've picked up quite a few! =)

Have a good one...

hi Cade!
Thanks for the note. I have checked occasionally to see if you had updated, but was beginning to tire of the effort when behold! I have a message from you. I'm so glad things have gone well. You totally should have swung by to see me here in Southern Spain. But, I recognize that your time was well used elsewhere. I greatly look forward to hearing of all your adventures whether in person or if you feel like dropping me an e-mail. Good luck on the rest of the summer adventure and hopefully I'll get a chance to write soon.
