Twas the night before next year

Well, things are going pretty well in Ames/Des Moines. I'm working between 8-9 hours a day planting seeds, hauling dirt and covering said seeds, but at least I get paid well. Work is pretty much eating my life since I'm go at 7:30 in th morning until 4:30 pm and I have to get to sleep at 10:00 at night so I don't pass out on the seed trays. BAH ( Read more... )

You do realize that you simply cannot tell us that you got inspiration for a play from Labyrinth without telling us what the idea is. C'mon now.

Well... I've actually had the idea for a few months, but rewatching Labyrinth made me rethink how I wanted to do it. It's a play about a Marionette doll (yup) who lives in a fantasy world (not too different from the flavor of Labyrinth. One day her strings are cut and she has no idea why, so she goes on a journey to find "the Puppeteer" and ask Him what she did wrong/how she can redeem herself (bear in mind that for a marionette, having one's strings cut is the equivalent to being excommunicated and getting leperacy all at once.)
