Hey - I found my way here through blackcigarette, and you fascinate me. Also, London stories fascinate me, because things always happen to me in London (previously proved a month ago) and I like to picture myself in stories that might actually happen to me. Possibly not as much as in stories that might not, though.
As for who I am - quarter of a century or so in years, Finnish/Estonian/Swedish/whatever, currently living in Estonia doing my Masters in journalism, one day going to launch an un-career of a bookstore owner/freelance writer/freelance translator. Also one day going to be happy. That's it I guess!
Oh, definitely come to Estonia, yes. It's a wonderful country with a lot to give, and an amazing mixture of medieval/Soviet/ultramodern and nationalistic/capitalist/underground. I mean I have a love/hate relationship with it, but that's just because, um, me and Estonia "have a history".
But definitely do not just stay in Tallinn. Tallinn is beautiful but nowadays also mainly populated by Finns and full of Finnish chains, it's all pretty awful. I live in Tartu myself, an old university town of 100 000 people, and this town I love, sincerely.
