Two most depressing movies, both involving Gore

After seeing Re-count, I'm reminded of what could have been. The other depressing movie is obviously The Inconvenient Truth, which I feel is fundamentally more depressing, because it is so much more permanent than 8 years of shitty government

The worst stupidity is all the middle class white women (not all of them, but enough to swing the demographic > 20% points) who went "oooh! uterus!" over the Palin pick. Because they can identify with her, or some other identity politics BS that the reps used to poh poh until they found a way to make it work for them.

I mean its one thing to be pissed about Hillary losing, but to switch to someone who is so anti-Hillary's platform out of what? Spite? Ignorance? Female 'solidarity'? I don't know what is worse.
