"Why is the frog crying?"
So, by her own request, picking the book from the two full shelves of kid books, I read a condensed picture book version of Star Wars: A New Hope to Alice last night. I think it is one of only two SW related books in her collection, and despite the assumptions of some, no, I am not trying to force (heh... I said Force) any of that on her.
Anyhow, in the course of reading it to her, and this being a Special Edition version, it had a picture of Han and Jabba. "Why is the frog crying?" was her immediate question at seeing that face that I always thought look perpetually worried and un-Jabba-like.
She can now identify most of the principals, minus the droids. Chewie appears to be her favorite, based on her keenness to spot him as we flipped through the book again afterwards.
And yes, she can do a Vader Breath impression when she sees him.
