Sleater Kinney never caught on with me. That was mostly on the vocals. I really really tried. I must have seen them open for other bands half a dozen times. I know that is enough to make my lady indie rock friends frown. I love every single Carrie appearance on All Songs Considered though.

Also Lykke Li is great live. She can take the house down with 'Can I kick it?' Although she doesn't have enough material to really headline. PROPERLY.

Also, isn't it funny how once the mix takes hold of you, you can't really hold it in? Maybe that's just me.

Yeah, Corin's voice is usually pretty harsh and whiny, including on this song. Carrie was by far the more talented of the two. I'd actually forgotten all about this song until I saw someone recommend it on a "breakup songs" thread and I was like "Oh yeah, I usta like that one about a decade ago."
