They really are-- terrific artwork, well-meaning silliness, and nothing more malicious than calling Jack Nicholson a piece of frozen ham. Would love to see a fancy collection of reprints someday.

I have those selective collections, "Mad about the 50s" and 60s and 70s. But it seems like the only place you can find the rest is those cheap paperbacks.

I have those too, and the huge hardback Don Martin compendium. But the first 2/3rds of these are from old issues and "Super Specials" I picked up at comic book stores when I was 14 or 15. Drucker in particular put out such masterpieces in every issue, they deserve to be more readily available these days.

Oh man, I totally had the issue with Drekula. Seeing these is blowing my mind - I had completely forgotten how amazing the art is. Thanks for scanning these.

Yeah, really outstanding portraits... just lookit Drucker's linework on Michael Caine, Frank SInatra, Ellen Burstyn, Richard Dreyfuss, Tony Perkins... all completely unmistakable. I hate the fact that I posted this back-to-back with my own stoopid comic, I can't stand to lookit 'em both on the same screen.
