In any event, the internet doesn't seem to contain enough information on this subject (at least, in English,) and I plan to harass more Koreans on this subject until I'm satisfied that I've gotten to the bottom of this.
I'd never heard of that before, but it's hilarious! I sleep with a fan on every night to drown out the Cat Noise from the rest of the house.
Sounds like something my dad would believe if he read about it... In fact, sounds like something my dad would come up with!
wonder if there are any similar such fallacies commonly believed by Americans My dad thinks that if there's an earthquake, I would have time to flee away from any large building and head to the countryside. Does that count?
