[Addendum || Viewable to All]I had thought that I wasn't going to be cursed today, that perhaps I would escape after having endured only one day of this weekend cursed. But apparently the City has other ideas.

While we're here, we get new memories, which most of us forget when we go home... hmm.

I do, I do! So what you're saying is... the chance to make new memories is what we're given upon entrance in the City, and when leaving it, that's what we pay for our relative freedom...

Yes, something like that, perhaps. Not to mention the value of our memories here, so far as the 'deities' are concerned.

I only ever remembered what happened on the first of those I experienced. So I'm guessing that on the other two, I must've found something out that the City (or the deities) didn't want me to hear.

It's entirely possible. I know there are many curses that I only remember as one would a dream. Whether that's a blessing or a curse of its own, I don't know.

Well, I personally don't like it. The feeling of having my memories messed with is kinda nasty.

As it is to me too, but I don't know what one can do besides trying to hold on to our memories from before we were brought here.
