It saddens me to report that Terry Pratchett has been diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's.

You're right - I think I misheard something that jogged a memory of Octavia Butler's death last year, but substituted Ursula Le Guin's name in my mind, easy enough to do as I've never read either. Who's this?
