how do you get your images online with out any kind of distortion from jpegs or whatever? I'm always impressed at how good your stuff looks on a computer

i have an epson perfection 3200 scanner so i just scan the prints at high res tiff's, keeping the contrast nice and flat, then matching the file with the print's contrast in photoshop and saving it at the max quality of a jpeg. its pretty easy if you have good scanning software and epson is just that, and always scan using tiff's!

bah it worked out...it ended up being the orange glow from my timer that destroyed my spirits...it didn't help that its a picture of my sister and even in 2D form she was giving me a hard time though!

hi. i'm ryon. i goto the school of the museum of fine arts in boston (aka the museum school aka smfa). i highly reccommend the graduate program here, we're part of tufts university and its a really small intimate school with alot of really original work coming out of the graduate program. and all the grad students are rad. but you could always go to yale and study with gregory crewdson too!

oh dear.. how i wish i could go to yale.. however, i'm afraid i'll be in so much debt, that i won't have any money to make art. i do think i'm going to apply though. do they accept many grad students in your program?
this has been helpful, thank you so much ryon.

well its an extremely small school so the grad program is pretty small also...i know of about 10 grad students in the photo department here...i've also heard very good work coming out of rochester, havn't read too much on it though, good luck!
