I got an e-mail recently with the subject heading of "cuddle raider." I was suspicious, as it was from someone called "Thornton," but really--cuddle raider? That could have been from a friend.

But indeed, it was spam. No fair.

I'm always surprised and amused by the number of spam subject lines that really could have come from my friends, not to mention the times they manage to randomly concoct the names of people I know.

Seems like the spate of really amusing subject lines like cuddle raider has abated somewhat recently though in favor of boring excerpts from news stories. Or maybe my filters have just caught up with the funny ones.
