A new category for country music

After watching as much of the CMAs as I could tolerate last night, I think it's a fair observation that country music has added a category I can only refer to as "Bubble Gum" country. BGC

You're just jealous because I discovered 'em when Country wasn't cool...or something like that. I was cool when I wasn't Country. I was even cool before I knew Country wasn't cool...before I even knew it was a country. And I am smarter than a fifth grader. So there!

PS, I forgot to mention my latest uncool discovery. Brooke Fraser from Down Under, as in New Zealand. She does lots of mainstream stuff but also writes some of the best contemporary Christian music I've heard.
