Why I don't Tweet (and why you should be grateful)

Here's why I don't Tweet: if I did it would look like this - a fairly accurate representation of some of the highlights of my day.

8:29 - I refuse to get up. I don't have to work and I can sleep if I want to!
8:30 - Wanna listen to the radio and sleep at the same time.
10:03 - I'm up!
10:10 - Taking my nice, cold mocha choco-latte out on the stoop to ( Read more... )

I've been on Twitter for a couple of years now, but have never yet been tempted to tweet about sleeping, eating or excreting, shopping etc. Everyone should express himself as he sees fit, though... And should take a holiday too, from the grid, to keep it all in perspective and "spare the world." Unplugging for now...

I've seen your Tweet posts. They are a far cry from my (only slight) parody of what mine would be like, and which it seems a lot of Tweeters post. As far as the Grid goes, that article you sent me about unplugging and getting off the Grid was inspirational. (From Orion?) I still have it. I may post the link to it here myself. Since my TV demise his account has resonated with me.
