I sometimes listen to Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace radio broadcast. The program is geared toward people who are in some sort of fianancial difficulty, typically heavy debt or some other financial hardship. Dave offers counsel and advice on how to proceed.

I think that guy needs to spend a couple of weeks in Haiti. Hopefully, his perspective would change, and he would know how good he has it.

True words. Brother, that applies to most of us, even people in this country who consider themselves in dire straits. The discrepancy that in this it's possible, first, even to acquire such debt, but also have sufficient resources to pay off that debt, is remarkable and humbling. When I think about people whose primary daily concern is finding water that hasn't been contaminated with sewage, it puts my own needs in perspective.
