Ok, so it has been a while. Not that this entry will prove to have been worth waiting for, I don't really have a whole hell of a lot to say. Actually, that's not strictly accurate. I do have a lot to say, I just don't know how much time I'll have to say it. The little eating/pooping machine is having her after-early-breakfast nap at the moment but

Not boring at all. I love the Alice updates (I'm biased, though; you know, the whole Uncle Tom(mmy) thing).

And Danke for the well wishes. They're supposed to finalized the details early next week (possibly by tomorrow afternoon). Fingers crossed for good stuff.

Fingers are crossed, along with anything else my old ass body can manage. Its good to hear that things are finally sorting themselves out on the financial and career fronts. As Mina stated previously, the last vestiges of the NOLA period are being replaced and the Houston life is beginning to take on a more permanent shape. Now if Crescentwood can just be passed to new owners the cycle will be damn near complete, I'd say. Plus, since such a thing would enable me to see my best friend again after 4+ years of near total isolation, I'm looking forward to the day I hear of the sale. Yes, my motives are rather selfish, I admit. Wouldn't be me if they weren't. :)

Thanks man. You've got to meet this kid, she's definitely her Dad's daughter.
Btw, it's cool to see the music is really kicking over there. I listened to the new stuff, pissed me off that I'm not near enough to catch it live. Excellent stuff regardless.
If and when you go international with the tours, you've got a definite member of the audience as well as a dinner/coffee/smokes/all-night-conversation companion. Next time you hit Wok Bo, chow some pot-stickers for me. :)

FYI: Wok Bo is now Lam Bo and their quality has denigrated even further - if you can believe that - that even I can no longer tollerate them. Yes, it was a golden age.

That would seriously be saying something. We've eaten at hole in the wall all night mexican places where the roaches were the best customers. Now, you tell me Lam Bo has descended to levels beneath that? Guess the health department has to make their money off someone.
I guess there's always House of Pies as a stand-by. Or just pull a John and hit Jack in the Box on the way home for some Mystery Filling Tacos.
