be candid if you are able.

I'm logged onto here on my break and the firewall kept me from reading some of your posts because it "exceeded the allowed number of questionable words... you guys must be pretty foul-mouthed.

Censorship systems that ban "questionable" words are so dumb, I don't even feel like going into it. If you disagree, I'll be happy to elucidate.

I'm doing pretty well. I had a really lousy breakup about a month ago with a girl I had been with for three months, but I had considered myself in love with her and she had said the same for awhile, then she left me for another guy, which was REALLY difficult at the time. But I'm pretty over it and back on top of life; got a job, vegan, playing guitar, reading some politics, working out, making mad dollaz as a pizza delivery boy, and have a half-decent social life, though no GREAT friends right now, but that's ok, I've got a decent amount of pretty good friends, and now some self-confidence and positive habits to lean back on.

How's life with you?

In summation, I'm fine. I'll go into more detail when I am able (as I am still at hellish job with lousy keyboard that requires that I press the space bar TWICE to make a single space for some reason).

I don't disagree with your feelings about censorship programs... they're made with good intentions, but they don't consider context, which is extremely important. And I don't know what "elucidate" means, so I wouldn't dare ask you to do because as far as I know, it involves self mortification and I don't want you to do that.

Haha, elucidate is just expand on thought, "shed light on."

Exactly, context is the issue. For example

a)racism an extremely f-ing ugly idea
b)black people are inferior to whites and are like animals, not worthy of our concern.

b is ok but a is censored...ridiculous. It's the ideas that are important, and people who focus on "bad words" are missing the entire point. Unless a word is intrinsically hateful like the "n-word," I don't think it should be banned or labelled as bad, becuase most often the "bad words" are just used as synonyms of perfectly acceptable words, but with a stronger connotation.

So why the Davy Crockett practice? Is it for something or is it just for gits and shiggles?
