Which is odd considering I officially quit smoking over two years ago and aside from the occasional drunken puff, only relapsed once for about three weeks when I was living in a bedbug infested hostel shithole while chunks of a solar house dangled precariously above the heads

Hi mister.
I've been thinking of you this week & wondering about your life now.
I just logged in because I remembered the department doesn't want personal info online... luckily no one reads livejournal! So I think I'm "safe". I don't erase it because it is a time capsule. and I have a terrible memory without it.
so, yes, anyways, spring state of mind is here and winter is over, all 40 degrees of it.

Wow, this is so strange. I've totally been thinking about you all week too. And last night before I fell asleep I made a mental note to e-mail you today. Then this morning on the way to work i was like, I should update livejournal, its been forever. Psychic connections are weird and wonderful.
How are you? How is grad school going? are you learning lots of important things about yourself? I think you gave me your new number, but I'm not sure. Let me know what it is and I'll call you this week. We have a lot to catch up on.
I've been good, although a bit sick the last week or so. We've been having weird weather. Anyway, I hope all is well. I'll talk to you soon. -j
