Fleas Navidad

I had a kick ass Christmas. uberdude and I went to my folks' house for the weekend (well, for four days to be exact) and hung with my family and celebrated the holiday. It was very nice and I have really missed my family so, I must say, it was super wonderful for hunny to put up with my family for so long (esspecially since he was sufferring from allergies the whole time). I cannot believe how much my neice has grown. She's, like, her own unique person now. On the 13th of January she'll be four. FOUR?! How the f#$% did THAT happen?! My brother has a four year old child. God DAMN time moves fast.

Now, on with the irreverent. My haul this holiday (or should I say hauliday) was something else:

- 10 week pottery class...WOO HOO!!!
- A tackle-box filled with very nice pottery equipment (everything I could ever need, I'm told)
- Indiana Jones trilogy on DVD
- Finding Nemo on DVD
- A bunch of new clothes (nice!)
- A new leather jacket that's reversable to be weatherproof on the other side...damned spiffy!
- The Grand Theft Auto III Double Pack for the X-Box (so much lovely evil)
- Lord of the Rings trilogy in hard-back (very nice set)
- Tony Bennett X-mas CD (HUH?!...my Aunt must be going insane)
- a boat-load of chocolate/candy (ick...gotta unload this stuff)

In addition to the usual gift exchange and gorging on emormous amounts of very naughty food, we saw the new Peter Pan. Despite some lack of ability on my part to get why Mr. Darling and Hook are the same person, I LOVED it. Peter Pan is one of my favorite stories so it was nice to see it get a really good live-action portrayal. Yesterday we came home, cleaned (thank the GODS), and kicked back for the rest of the day so we could be fresh and ready to go to work this morning.

Today I will be doing my back and biceps at the gym. Hurray!! Hopefully the weight room will be reopenned. Their schedule called for the weightroom to be open by today. *crossing fingers* Tonight I have no plans. Ahhhhh. Relaxations (and a little desperately needed laundry).
