i want to do something significant but i don't think i'm good enough at anything to make it worth doing. maybe this music thing is just a waste of time. or maybe i'm just going about it all wrong. god dammit.

this is frustrating.

I'll say this now and a million baJILLION more times:

You are incredibly talented. You are incredibly creative. The things you can do in a day off astound me, and the things you spend a lot of time working on show up anybody else I can brag about knowing.

If you're bored with music, it's your choice to change directions, and you know I'd support any road you took to the end, but I feel the need to say clearly in writing that you are an AMAZING musician with fantastic ideas (i said once I listen to the songs of yours you sent me that you end up hating later like I listen to Old 97s or Rilo Kiley; that they're that good- and I meant it) and I hope you never lose faith in your music. Whatever you do, know that you really are incredible.

P.S. There are a lot of websites that have tshirt design contests and will sell them if people vote on them (aka threadless.com)- and you have come up with some pretty awesome designs....not to mention your SWEET screen printing skills!

we should hang out in the next few days. My mom is out of town and i have no curfew, and i've been driving in wichita.
so for the next few days i'm not a complete loser.
