I work out all the time- I feel like shit when I don't- good when I do. I guess it's the whole proactive thing. You can't just expect to be in shape...you have to train yourself. What's your routine?
My brother and I would recommend protein supplements (available at like GNC for reasonable prices for 5 lb tubs). You might as well get the most out of your working out, after all. There are ones that are strictly muscle building protein shake-makers, as well as weight gaining too (which include a good portion of protein plus a lot of carbs and calories).

seriously man, i'm just this side of obese
i'm going to start taking multivitamins, but i think that's it for supplements
