my "glasses"(cheap head-ache inducing paper clip metal with scratched up glass between them) will soon meet a similar fate and for the same reason.

Be careful with the glasses. I lost mine about a month ago. My contacts are fine most of the time, but I miss the glasses for watching tv in bed and navigating around in the morning.
