I don't know why, but I think that I connect with the first and third images. The grate/bars and the razor wire. They're evocative of something I can't put a finger on. Whatever it is, it makes me sad, a bit.

Thank you for those. They are beautiful in the early a.m. of California grey light.

i can understand the evocation of sadness... a controlled kinetics in the coils: the implacable laving of shadow over taut corroded strings, a muted gray snaking lonely towards the bright, the exhibitionist grace of barbs stripping themselves away from human boundaries. yes. am i reading too much into this? ^_^

Very nice. Initially I went for the first one, but I'm drawn more and more to the hoses.

So what happened to the camera?

Aww shame. Mechanical fault or accident?

I've had my Cannon S20 for about 4 years now and its solid as a rock (and weighs about the same). its only a 3.3mp, but its crystal sharp. When I can afford to get a 6mp I'll be going for a Cannon too, just very well made.

I recently received an unexpected £300, so I've blown it on the new 7.2MP Sony Cybershot.
