(meta) All Quiet

Been a nightmare week, fraught with work and travel and technical and other problems. New Computer arrived today (a day late) -- am now in pub, caffeinating up for the job of fitting it and loading it up and getting back online. Which is going to eat up the rest of the day, as I have some nine gigs of material to put back, plus a ton of new ( Read more... )

I love getting new comps, but as you say its a fucking knife in the scrotal sack trying to get stuff uploaded. You will feel imense satisfaction when it is done though. Mmmmm satisfaction.

Looking good...love the fireworks shot. Guess you're beginning to appreciate the differences between pointnshoot and serious megapixel gear, eh? The problem with a tool like my Canon 10D or your Sony Cybershot DSC-P150 and the monster files they create is that after you've been shooting a while, you suddenly have multiple gigs of images with which to deal.

As per the site, will you be activating user registration? Noticed it wasn't live...

You probably don't want to do that.
