I'll post this for you tomorrow in my community sfbayarea, which is the main LJ community for the S.F. Bay Area, and on my journal, which gets a lot of readers. I'd mention it today, but it would just get buried in the election-related posts... and frankly, I'd rather not do anything which moves the focus off of getting people to vote today.
I have my girlfriend's entire collection of Transmetropolitan over here, and I might be able to make it to the signing. Let's hope your sharpie doesn't run out of ink!

It's very simple, really. in the 2004 election, the urban/industrial centers rallied behind Sen John Kerry, while the rural/agricultural areas supported Bush, with the end result being that an unqualified, early 20th century idealist (Bush) continued exercising control over the entire United States
