I've been doing a lot of stuff the past week, most of which were awesome. If you didn't know before, I love autumn. I love October. It is both. I love that.

The usual: this week + pictures )

I love the fall and baking bread and causing mischief late in the night with friends! As odd as it may sound, and as much as I love my friends here in Blacksburg, I haven't been able to have the same kind of friend dynamics and fun that I used to have with you wall so long ago...miss ya!

It seems like in Raleigh, we did that kind of stuff because there was nothing else around to do. Here, we do it just because its fun! It's interesting that you haven't been able to do have a similar dynamic in Blacksburg since there are so many more students there (almost double, if I remember correctly). I suppose its just one of those things...some of us are going to be in Raleigh in a week for fall break. If you're going to be there, it would be great to see you!

Man, I didn't think I'd plow through that book in time but I'm so glad I did! Definitely worth it. I think I liked it's relation to you because it showed me a perspective I didn't have before. I'm glad you agree that there is some similarity :P
I wish it wasn't raining this weekend. Last Saturday I was also at the parkway, but I went alone. If the weather clears up again this weekend I'd like to go again, if you're down.

Alone at the parkway is always great. I'd do that often if I had a car.

Yus, I am down.

Hey Kevin, sorry I could not make it to your potluck. Believe me when I say I would've rather been stuffing my face with good people instead of force gluing my face in front of the computer screen, cold, alone(well, alone in my room), and writing about a coupele of tragic poets.

"I would've rather been stuffing my face with good people..."

Wow, in that case, I'm glad you didn't show up! ;)

Next time, you should come!

deer god! indeed.
i'm wondering how/why it is my life seems to differ so much from yours. yours sounds very pleasant, filled with variety. mine sure seems repetitive/monotonous compared to yours. i'm not sure how to generate more random fun into my life. i feel so consumed. my time feels so consumed...

In the past, that's how I've felt. Well, my life had variety still, but I just didn't recognize that at the time. It wasn't ever until that year/semester was over that I thought, "hey, all of those things I did were pretty cool and make great memories." This year is different though. I know its my last year in Boone, so I'm going all out and trying to enjoy everything as much as possible. It's easy to feel consumed by time, but I just try to forget about it when I can. Thinking about time is stressful.

You should hang out with us more often and we'll do random stuff!
