1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Hmmm. I moved out and I'm on my own. Own my own for real, no handouts from the parents. I also started liking myself. Weird.

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never do these things. Maybe I should start.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yeah my buddy Tampa Dave. Stabbed in the chest trying to break up a fight. Here is a photo of us:

5. What countries did you visit?
None. Unless South Carolina and Tennessee count.

6. What would you like to have had in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
Rachel.

What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
10-15-04.
Because things, well for the most part, have been great between Rachel and I since this.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Probably taking on a more active leadership role at work. Also not working myself and acting like "Mr. Crazy Depresso Suicide Guy" as often.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Probably not saving money like I should, or something trivial like that.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just the meniscus injury.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Pajama pants. Or the Joe Thornton hockey stick head with the perfect curve that has helped me score a lot of goals this year.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Probably Bryan's for getting married or Rachels for accepting that I am awesome. (ha)

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The people at work who actually suggested that the country should split up because Bush was reelected.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Seeing Wilco, meeting Rachel.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
"New Slang" by the Shins, "Thirteen" by Wilco.

Saving Money/ my hairline.

Procrastinating.

With the fam, and also taking Rachel out to a movie or something.

Yes.

Well ,let's see. Katy, Ruby, Kendra. 3. Yeah, three.

Curb Your Enthusiasm, Da Ali G Show, Family Bonds

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Scott Bannick and the guy who killed Dave.

26. What was the best book you read?
Moneyball by Michael Lewis.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
How relaxing the ukelele can really be.

28. What did you want and get?
A stable relationship.

29. What did you want and not get?
A stable relationship, well for a while at least. More Money.

I didn't really see anything new this year, I liked Master and Commander however.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went out with some friends, and also hung out with Rachel. I was 27.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A car.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Ben Sherman button ups, Black t shirts, Gap Blue Jeans (boot cut), Doc Martin "dress shoes" (like a just below the ankle cut square toe black boot). Boston Red Sox cap.

34. What kept you sane?
Me for once.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Lindsey Lohan.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
People blindly going along with one party. Any party for that matter.

37. Who did you miss?
My family. Even though they are close by, they seem like they are 20 billion miles away.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Rachel.
